Scarborough Walk of Fame Celebration Day. April 10 2024

Announcing Glenn De Baeremaeker Chair, Scarborough Walk of Fame

SCRO is thrilled to announce the appointment of Glenn De Baeremaeker as the new Chair of the Scarborough Walk of Fame!

Many of us know Glenn well. Glenn was a 15 year Scarborough Councillor and Deputy Mayor with a huge passion for environmental causes, including Rouge Park. Glenn was a long-time board member of the Toronto Zoo and is a proud graduate of University of Toronto Scarborough. And Glenn was a 2022 inductee on the Scarborough Walk of Fame!

We are honoured to have a passionate Scarborough leader of Glenn’s stature leading a high-performing team of Scarborough volunteers for this signature Scarborough program.

Call for Nominations. Deadline is October 15.

SCRO is now planning the next Scarborough Walk of Fame Celebration Day, on April 10, 2024 at Scarborough Town Centre.
SWOF showcases and celebrates the best of Scarborough. We have so many talented, accomplished and,
well, famous people … right here in Scarborough, who make a difference here at home and, in some cases, become ambassadors for Scarborough around the world.

Want to nominate someone to be a “Star” on the Scarborough Walk of Fame?

Nominations are now open!

Visit the SWOF Nominations page at: https://scarboroughwalkoffame.com/nominations/ to find the eligibility criteria and to make your submission.
